Congratulations to Darius Dunlap-Elkins, is his first place finish in the 11-year-old boys 1500m race walk at the 2023 AAU Junior Olympics this summer. His mom said she, “always had a difficult time finding a proper shoe and Reshod made this easy. Darius had a very impressive final lap! According, to his mom, “Darius said the shoes helped him maintain his technique throughout his race.” He wore the Pushover 2 and walked the 1500RW in 8:33.37 but already has plans to improve that time with a more efficient hip rotation and arm swing.

By the way, racewalking is not the only event for this young man. Darius competed in three other events at the AAU Junior Olympics. He took 3rd in the 11 year old boys Pentathlon, 4th in the 800m run at 2:18.86 and 6th in the 400m, in a time of 59.69.
