Coach Carmen plans to take the next style of Reshod Walking Shoes on a spin around Santee’s Trolley Square race course this Saturday, January 26th at the USATF 50k National Championships. She has a chance to beat an age group record for the 50k and possibly qualify for the US Olympic Trials in the longest foot race to be contested in Tokyo. Start time is 7:30 am. Michael Mannozzi, Stephanie Casey and Darlene Backlund will also be sporting the blue race shoes, which they have been testing for several months. Michael Mannozzi and Stephanie Casey are going after a spot on the US Pan Am Cup Team and we wish them success!
The City of Santee is hosting their annual Active Lifestyle Expo at the same location, in the parking lot near Target from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Reshod Walking Shoes will have a booth with demo shoes to try on and walk over to watch the racers, along with giveaways and a drawing for product prizes.
