Reshod Walking Shoes Booth at Saturday’s Doggie Dash

Saturday, May 12, 2018 – Tom McCall Waterfront, Portland OR.  When Coach Carmen created Reshod Walking Shoes in 2008, her goal was to create a footwear technology that could be used by the full spectrum of walkers – from the casual lifestyle walker, to the super speedy Olympic-style race walker.  In order to do that, she first identified the commonalities between the straight-kneed Olympic sport and the bent-kneed casual lifestyle version.  Then, she looked at the biomechanical differences between walking and running to figure out which features should be avoided.  Her solution was to use angled foam components, which could offer a smoother ride for heel-toe walkers.  She rolled out the first shipment of Pushover Walking Shoes in October 2017 and has customers in thirty-seven US States and nine other countries.  Many have already purchased a second pair.  Reshod customers come from all walks of life, from dog walkers to Olympic walkers and and everyone in between.

Visit our booth this Saturday!
