Walking is a low-impact sport with few opportunities for acute injuries. Overuse injuries are more common. Therefore, Coach Carmen focuses on postural alignment exercises for improved range of motion and strength. This 45 minute class begins with simple exercises to realign your loading joints. The last 15 minutes of the class will be interactive. Got pain? Want to walk faster? Ask away. Coach Carmen combines her knowledge of barefoot strengthening and postural alignment functional movement exercises to address your needs. Note: If you have acute pain that needs more attention or a long-term issue the requires follow-up, talk to Coach Carmen about setting up a personal training session.
